These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, as well as the preliminary application process for our recovery housing programs. This website is operated by Recovery Housing Initiative, Inc, a Massachusetts LLC (referred to herein as "RHI Sober Living," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our website, or by submitting an application through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

RHI Sober Living provides sober living environments and recovery housing advocacy. Our physical residences are located in Lowell and Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

  • No Medical Advice: The content on our website and the information provided through our digital services are for informational and application purposes only. RHI Sober Living does not provide clinical medical treatment, detoxification, or formal psychiatric services.

  • Eligibility: To apply for residency or use our interactive services, you must be at least 18 years of age.

Applications and Intake Process

Submitting an application through RHISoberLiving.org does not guarantee acceptance or immediate placement into our homes.

  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the intake and application process. Providing false or misleading information regarding your identity, recovery status, or history may result in the immediate rejection of your application or termination of residency if discovered post-placement.

  • Final Admission: Actual residency is contingent upon a formal intake screening, background review, and the signing of a separate physical Residency Agreement / House Rules Contract.

Financial Commitments and Fees

If accepted into an RHI Sober Living home, you will be subject to weekly program fees, deposit structures, or membership dues.

  • Payment Processing: Financial transactions or payment portals accessed through our website (or managed via our technical service providers) must be authorized by the account holder.

  • Refund Policies: Refund policies regarding program fees, structural dues, and deposits are strictly governed by your physical Residency Agreement and are not determined by website terms.

Prohibited Conduct

When using our website and digital forms, you agree not to:

  • Submit fraudulent, malicious, or intentionally inaccurate data.

  • Use the website in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party's use.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our secure networks, databases, or service provider frameworks (including our CRM systems).

  • Post or transmit any defamatory, abusive, offensive, or unlawful content through our contact or application portals.
